Drug addiction is one of the biggest problems in our country. It’s very important to spread awareness about it, including facilities meant to help people recover. The RETREAT is a drug addiction center in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. I designed a set of posters to spread awareness by showing the visual effects of addiction. Many people who abuse drugs feel lost, shattered, and broken; this can also result in violent outburst such as smashing things. The poster concept is using broken mirrors to show people the effects, but also to remind them this does not have to become their result.
